City defender James Meredith is set to miss out again this weekend after failing to shrug off the last effects of a recent virus.
Meredith, who has missed City's last two games with the problem, is slowly improving but won't quite be ready for this Saturday's home League 2 fixture with Oxford United.
The Australian left back has twice visited a doctor in the last week regarding his illness, with City keen for him to return only when he is completely back to full fitness.
City assistant Steve Parkin said: "He is still struggling a wee bit with it."
"He has seen the doctors again - it just seems that the virus is hanging on a bit longer than we'd all have hoped.
"We want to make sure he is in the right shape before we bring him back in for training.
"He almost certainly won't be in contention for this weekend, and we'll just have to see how he is at the beginning of next week."
