Friends of BCFC extend 50/50 raffle

6 January 2013

City supporter group, Friends of Bradford City, are to extend the 50:50 raffle draws to now cover all cup competitions, starting at the forthcoming game Capital One Cup Semi-Final First Leg tie with Aston Villa this Tuesday (8 January 2013).

The club's 50:50 draw is a raffle which is usually held on the day of first team home matches where supporters can buy tickets for a half time draw in the hope of winning a cash prize.

As the name suggests, the price fund raised from the 50:50 raffle is split down the middle.

50% of the money goes to the owner of the winner ticket for that particular home match, while the other half goes to support various club projects and departments.

In the past, the 50:50 raffle draw had only taken place during home league fixtures but, with the help of the Friends of Bradford City, future draws will now take place on cup match-days as well.

Friends of Bradford City would like to thank SMFprint.com who have continued their support for the 50:50 draw by supplying these yellow tickets (pictured).

The winner will be drawn at half time with the funds split between the winner and FoBCFC. FoBCFC will look to use such funds obtained from subsequent cup 50:50 draws to benefit the football club.
