Ryan Dickson looks to have already played the last match of his current loan period with the Bantams after it was revealed that the left back is set to undergone an operation.
Dickson, who joined the club on loan until the end of the season from Southampton back in January, faces a procedure to correct an ankle problem that could see him sidelined for anything up to six months.
The defender saw a specialist yesterday who advised him to have the injury operated on as soon as possible.
The news regarding Dickson means the defender is the second left back for City to be ruled out long term since the turn of the year following James Meredith's recent bout of glandular fever.
