Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has made three changes to the side that began last weekend's game at Peterborough United.
With James Hanson and Andy Gray injured, young forward Oliver McBurnie has been brought in to partner Nahki Wells in attack.
Following his sterling second half display against Peterborough, Kyel Reid is restored to the starting eleven, while Carl McHugh has been chosen to replace the suspended Rory McArdle in central defence.
Ricky Ravenhill, who has been recalled from his loan spell with Northampton Town, is named among City's substitutes.
