Capital One Cup Round 1
Huddersfield Town vs Bradford City
Kick Off: 7.45pm
at the John Smith's Stadium
Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has, as expected, made changes to his starting line up for City's Capital One Cup Round 1 tie at near neighbours Huddersfield Town.
Parkinson has made as many as seven alterations to the side that started at Bristol City on Saturday.
Ricky Ravenhill, Kyel Reid, Jason Kennedy, Carl McHugh, Matt Taylor, Alan Connell and Raffaele De Vita have all been brought in for the West Yorkshire derby with their Championship hosts.
With McHugh coming into the side at left back and Ravenhill and Kennedy playing in central midfield, Doyle will start at the John Smith's Stadium at centre half.
Taylor will join Doyle in central defence for his City debut, while Reid and De Vita will occupy the left and right flanks respectively.
The appearance of those two in City's starting eleven frees Garry Thompson to join Connell up front.
The likes of Gary Jones, James Hanson, Mark Yeates and Nahki Wells are all on the bench but there is no spot for Luke Oliver, who had been in the reckoning to be named among Parkinson's substitutes.
Oliver has travelled with the squad to Huddersfield but his place on the bench has been taken by Andrew Davies.
