Bantams boss Phil Parkinson will be taking a squad with him to Horsfall Stadium this Monday (12 August 2013) evening for a friendly fixture with near neighbours Bradford (Park Avenue).
The friendly was originally penciled in as a development squad fixture as part of the club's link with the RIASA coaching programme, but Parkinson has now decided to use the contest as an opportunity to give some of his squad members more match-time.
After making his long-anticipated return from injury in a friendly at Harrogate Town earlier this month, Luke Oliver is expected to feature in the match, as is loanee 'keeper Connor Ripley.
A selection of other members of Parkinson's squad, such Matt Taylor, Raffaele De Vita, Carl McHugh and Louie Swain, are also in line to play against Avenue in the Tom Banks Memorial Trophy fixture.
The game, which kicks off at 7:30pm, will have the following admission prices:
Adults: £10.00
Senior Citizens: £5.00
Juniors under 16: £1.00
