npower League 2
Oxford United 0
Bradford City 2 (Davies 52, Wells 68)
Kick Off: 3.00pm
at the Kassam Stadium

Attendance: 6,032 (393 visitors)
City stretched their winning streak to three games after picking up a comfortable away win at an out-of-sorts Oxford United.

Second half goals from Andrew Davies and Nahki Wells, both as a result of Gary Jones corners, proved enough to secure City a deserved three-point haul and push them into fourth place in the League 2 table in the process.

Strong in defence and threatening in attack, City's classy Kassam Stadium display was the complete away performance. Limiting their hosts to very little throughout, City always looked likely winners from the moment Davies opened the scoring.

The victory is the Bantams' first on the road in the league this season and follows on from their impressive recent back-to-back home victories against Barnet and Morecambe.

After a first period edged by City but containing few out-an-out scoring chances, Parkinson's men stormed in front when Davies rose to met a Jones corner to head home his third goal of the season.

City then grabbed a second to confirm their dominate position in the match when Rory McArdle flicked on another Jones delivery into the path of the recalled Wells, who turned the ball home from close range.

90min: Craddock fires wide of the target from just outside the area after finding himself in just enough space to turn and shoot.
87min: Clarke manages to gather onto a Hanson's long-ranger at the second attempt after initially spilling the hopeful effort from distance.

82min: SUB - Zavon Hines replaces Reid.
76min: A nice flick from Thompson sees Atkinson into aches of space down City's right flank. With an unmarked Hanson screaming for a pass in the middle, Atkinson continues to carry the ball forward before eventually forcing a smart save out of Clarke with an angled drive around eight yards out. The rebound falls into the path of the onrushing Jones just inside Oxford's area but with a number of home defenders blocking his way to goal, the Bantams midfielder can only fire over the bar.
75min: YELLOW CARD - Constable is booked for complaining to the referee after be penalised for tripping up McArdle deep in City's half of the pitch.
73min: Doyle tees himself with a flick up off the ball before firing in a looping volley that sails a few yards wide of Clarke's goal.

68min: GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!Oxford United 0 Bradford City 2 - The Bantams double their lead when Wells diverts home from close range after Rory McArdle had flicked on a Jones corner into his path.
64min: After Davies had managed to intercept a lofted pass into the area from Leven by heading clear, Constable picks up the loose ball and instantly fires for goal. His rising drive from just inside the area is struck with plenty of venom but his flies over the bar.
62min: SUBS - Oxford bring on Peter Leven and Sean Rigg for Heslop and former City full back Luke O'Brien.
62min: Doyle fires in a hopeful shot from distance but his effort rolls well wide of Clarke's goal.

45min: There will be one minute added on at the end of the first half.

37min: Hanson climbs highest to reach Reid's looping cross into the box but the striker's connection is not clean and his header bounces harmlessly wide of Clarke's goal.
34min: A cute pass from Alfie Potter plays Simon Heslop into just a enough space just outside City's area for a shot on goal. The midfielder's actual effort is miscued, however, and sails comfortably over Jon McLaughlin's bar.
26min: Tony Capaldi runs forward with the ball around 20 yards from goal but his eventual effort is scuffed wide of the target.
19min: City force a couple of corners following Wells' chance but Oxford's defence eventually clears their lines.
18min: A long ball forward from Meredith causes panic in the home defence when Wells just beats Clarke to the pass after the Oxford 'keeper had come flying out of his area to try and deal with the situation. With Clarke trying to recover his position, Wells fires for goal from a wide position around 20 yards out but the shot-stopper manages to get a hand on the effort to push it into the side netting.
17min: There are mild penalty appeals from the home support when Rory McArdle and James Constable tangle in the box when trying to contest a Damian Batt cross into the area. Despite Constable's claims he was held back, nothing is given and play carries on.
15min: Picking the ball up in a central position, Reid lets rip with a drive from around 25 yards out that flies a yard or wide of Clarke's goal.
13min: Hanson nearly gets himself on the end of a long James Meredith throw-in into Oxford's six yard box but he narrowly fails to connect and the ball bounces through to the home 'keeper Ryan Clarke.
