The Bantams dramatically booked their place in the Capital One Cup Fourth Round with a sensational come-from-behind victory against Burton Albion after extra time at a rain-soaked Coral Windows Stadium.
Despite completely dominating for almost the entire match, City looked set to be knocked with only seven minutes remaining thanks to two first-half Burton strikes until a late double from substitute Nahki Wells took the tie to extra time.
The stage was then set for unlikely hero Stephen Darby to fire City into the draw for the last sixteen when he drove home via the inside of the post with a low effort from all of 25 yards out in the second period of extra time.
The incredible result for Phil Parkinson's men sees City enter into the fourth round stage for the first time since the 1988/1989 season.

34min: Ricky Ravenhill fires comfortably over the bar after a half-cleared Jones free-kick had fallen into his path just outside Burton's area. Credit to the midfielder though, he did seem to slip over on the wet surface as he went to strike for goal.
29min: GOAL - Bradford City 0 Burton Albion 2 - The visitors double their lead from the resulting corner, however, when Webster heads home from Bell's far post delivery. Jones tried to stop the ball from going in but the Assistant Referee on the far side flags for a goal despite the City skipper heading away. 8min: Tomlinson fails to deal with another long range effort from City, this time coming from Connell. The Burton 'keeper can only shovel the drive out into the path of Atkinson, who from around ten yards out, sees his effort on the rebound deflected up in the air for a grateful Tomlinson to gather.
4min: City go close to opening the scoring with the first real opening of the match! Stuart Tomlinson fails to keep hold of a drive from distance by Gary Jones as the effort skips off the wet surface. Garry Thompson is first on the loose ball but his close range effort is bravely blocked by Tomlinson. Zavon Hines keeps the attack alive shortly afterwards by fizzing in a low cross but Alan Connell narrowly misses out on connecting while positioned right in front of goal around six yards out.
0min: The Bantams kick off the tie. They will attack towards the T.L Dallas Stand end in the first half. The rain, as it has done all day and is forecast to do throughout the game, continues to fall as the tie begins.
7:37pm: Unbelievably, despite over two days of almost constant rainfall, City are all set to take on Burton Albion in the Capital One Cup Third Round. Credit must go to the club's ground-staff for their work over the summer months and at the start of the season to improve the playing surface at the Coral Windows Stadium. The pitch, although damp in sections, looks in remarkably good condition for all the rain it has taken on over the last 50-60 hours.
