Arsenal at home for City

31 October 2012

Phil Parkinson's Bantams will entertain Premiership giants Arsenal for a place in the Capital One Cup Semi-Finals after being drawn at home to the London side in Wednesday's Quarter-Finals draw.

City were pitted with Arsene Wenger's men in the final tie of a last eight draw which was conducted by former Manchester United forward Dwight Yorke and Arsenal old boy Alan Smith after the conclusion of the televised Chelsea-Manchester United Fourth Round tie.

While City were on the way to defeating Wigan Athletic on penalties this Tuesday evening, Arsenal booked their own spot in the Quarter-Final draw by dramatically beating Reading after extra-time 7-5.

The mouth-watering tie will be the Gunners' first visit to the Coral Windows Stadium since City met Arsenal in the Premier League back in September 2000.

The Capital One Cup tie with the Champions League competitors will take place the week commencing 10th December 2012.

Match ticket and hospitality package details for this tie will be announced in due course.

Once they are confirmed, all ticket details for the Arsenal tie will be available to see here on the club's official website.
