Turgott makes City loan move

22 November 2012

City boss Phil Parkinson has boosted his attacking options ahead of his side's trip to Bristol Rovers this weekend by bringing in England Under 19 winger Blair Turgott on loan from Premier League side West Ham United.

The highly-rated 18 year-old will stay at the Coral Windows Stadium until 5 January 2013 after penning his loan move to City this Thursday.

The talented right-footer will wear squad number 26 during his time with Parkinson's men.

Subject to receiving the relevant clearances, Turgott will now go into City's squad for their fixture at the Memorial Stadium this Saturday.

He will also be available to the Bantams for their forthcoming F.A Cup with Budweiser, Capital One Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy ties.

With wingers Zavon Hines and Kyel Reid currently sidelined through injury, Parkinson's timely move for Turgott comes shortly before the loan window slams shut later this evening until the beginning of January.

Turgott, who featured in England Under 19s' latest match against Finland nine days ago, has five caps in total for the Three Lions in that particular age group.

A regular in West Ham's reserve-level development squad this season, the winger has also represented England at Under 16, Under 17 and Under 18 level.
