It's that time of year again when City fans can put numbers to names as the football club reveals its official squad numbers for the 2012/2013 season.
After revealing his desired number during a recent Bantams Player interview, summer signing Garry Thompson has indeed been handed his favourite number 11 shirt.
Out of Phil Parkinson's other close-season captures, Gary Jones has taken up number 18 and Rory McArdle has been given shirt 23.
Like Thompson with his squad number 11 request, McArdle is believed to have favoured the number 23 after using it previously in his career.
Parkinson's pair of new full backs for the forthcoming season, Stephen Darby and James Meredith, have been given the number 2 and 3 shirts respectively.
After spending the majority of last season on loan with the Bantams, summer recruit Andrew Davies has moved up from number 38 to 5, while fellow former loanee Will Atkinson will now use number 14.
Ricky Ravenhill, Kyel Reid and Matt Duke have also moved numbers from last season.
Ravenhill changes to number 4, Reid has jumped up to number 7 and Duke has been allocated jersey number 12.
After being told that that they were free to join other clubs, Steve Williams, who is currently sidelined with an achilles tendon injury, Dean Overson, Dominic Rowe and Darren Stephenson have not been issued with squad numbers.
