City boss Phil Parkinson has made as many as six changes for his side's trip to Watford in the Capital One Cup.
Jon McLaughlin replaces Matt Duke in goal, while Stephen Darby and debutant Carl McHugh are brought in at the full back positions.
Will Atkinson returns into central midfield to take over from the rested Nathan Doyle. James Meredith keeps his place in Parkinson's starting eleven but moves up from left back to left midfield to accommodate McHugh's debut starting appearance.
City's final two changes to their AFC Wimbledon line up from the weekend see Garry Thompson and Alan Connell paired together in attack.
Nahki Wells and Andrew Davies are not even named on the bench due to slight knocks.
