On the eve of his first home match in charge of the Bantams, Peter Taylor moved bolstered his attack with the loan signing of Mark McCammon on Friday 26 February 2010.

The powerhouse striker joined City on a one month loan from Coca-Cola League 1 side Gillingham.

McCammon,31, has won five caps for Barbados and at 6' 3'', his sheer physical presence and aerial ability is sure to be a potent weapon for Bradford.

He has featured 14 times for the Gills in League 1 so far and has nearly 250 career appearances under his belt.

After starting out at Cambridge United and enjoying short spells at Charlton and Swindon, McCammon's professional career really took off at Griffin Park.

He spent three productive years and made 74 appearances at Brentford, during which time he helped the Bees make it to the finals of the Football League (Johnstone's Paint) Trophy and League 1 Play-Offs.

In March 2003, McCammon ended his association with Brentford as he joined fellow capital club, Millwall.

During McCammon's time with the Lions, the veteran forward made a substitute appearance in the 2004 F.A. Cup Final against Manchester United at the Millennium Stadium.

In December of the same year, he made the trip to the south coast to join Brighton & Hove Albion on loan.

The Seagulls must have been impressed by what they saw of McCammon, as three months later the deal was made permanent.

The 31 year old's stay on at the Withdean Stadium lasted 18 months before he caught to eye of Doncaster Rovers.

McCammon travelled to north to complete his move to Doncaster in August 2006 and had the honour of scoring Rovers first goal at their new Keepmoat Stadium in early 2007.

His final match for Rovers was in their League 1 Play-Off Final win over Leeds United at Wembley Stadium in 2008.

The following summer he made the move to his latest club, Gillingham, after signing a three year contract at Priestfield.

He featured against the Bantams in both matches when the sides met in League 2 last season.
