Bradford City completed the loan signing of Adam Bolder on Friday 5 March 2010.

Bolder joined from League 1 side Millwall for a month's loan.

The energetic and competitive central midfielder comes to the Coral Windows Stadium with a fine pedigree after spending the majority of his career at Championship level.

Renowned for his ensured tackling and excellent range of passing, Bolder spent six full seasons at Championship level with Derby County, Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday between 2002 and 2008.

The midfielder also featured for the Rams thirteen times in the Premier League earlier in his career, making his debut at Old Trafford back in 2001 as Derby pulled off a shock win at Manchester United thanks to a Malcolm Christie second half strike.

He was also part of the Millwall side that defeated Leeds United in the League 1 Play-Offs Semi-Finals last season.

Hull born Bolder actually started out in professional football at League 2 level with his home town side back in 1999. He made his senior debut as a substitute against Macclesfield Town at Boothferry Park.

After impressing in his first full season with the Tigers during the following year, Bolder made the massive jump up to the Premiership with Derby in 2000.

Pride Park would remain Bolder's home for several seasons as the midfielder went onto make 166 appearance for the Derbyshire side between 2001 and 2007.

As well as his memorable debut at the Threatre of Dreams, a highlight of the midfielders time with the Rams included playing a leading role in the Derby side that reached the Championship Play-Offs during the 2004/2005 season.

In January 2007, Bolder ended his long association with Derby to join fellow second tier outfit, Queens Park Rangers.

QPR were struggling near the foot of the table at the point of his arrival, but under guidance of his old boss at Derby, John Gregory, Bolder and his team-mates helped the Londoners avoid relegation.

During his time at Loftus Road, Bolder was also awarded the honour of being named club captain.

He ended the 2007/2008 season at Hillsborough as the midfielder enjoyed a profitable loan spell with Sheffield Wednesday, which included Bolder scoring twice for the Owls at Bramall Lane in the Steel City derby.

A few months into the following season, Bolder joined the Lions of Millwall, initially on loan.

At the start of 2009, his deal at the New Den was made permanent and he has gone on to make twenty one appearances with them so far.

During that same season , Bolder gained his second taste of Play-Off action as he helped guide Millwall to the League 1 Play-Off final after their dramatic semi with Leeds.

Bolder played the full 90 minutes for the Lions against Scunthorpe United at the Wembley showpiece, but unfortunately he was denied another crack at Championship football for now as the Iron edged a thrilling final 3-2.

Since joining the Bantams, Bolder has gone on to extend his deal with the football club until the end of the season.

Bolder scored his first goal for Bradford in the final minute of the Bantams match against Morecambe on Tuesday 13 April 2010 to put the seal on a win over the Shrimps.
