Giant defender Steve Williams joined Bradford City on 17th July 2009.
Williams signed a one year deal with the club, with an option to extend it for a further year.
The centre half had been on trial with the Bantams since the start of July, following an recommendation from one of the club's coaching staff.
It is the former hairdresser's first professional contract in football, after spells in non-league football with Bamber Bridge and Fleetwood Town.
After signing his contract, Williams celebrated the fact by scoring his first goal for the club the following day in a pre-season friendly at York City.
From the early stages of the season, Williams quickly forged a partnership with Zesh Rehman at the heart of the Bantams defence and pushed himself to become one of McCall's first picks for any teamsheet.
The former Bamber Bridge defender has also picked up the handy knack of being effective in the opposite box.
By early December Williams had registered four goals for Bradford - all coming away from the Coral Windows Stadium.
