Bradford City manager Colin Todd goes into Saturday's final warm-up for the season knowing what his strongest line-up is - and he is not short on options.

He is likely to put out his strongest side against Stockport County at Edgeley Park as City chase their sixth win from as many pre-season friendlies.

Talking to the Telegraph & Argus he said: "This is our last opportunity, but we have had one or two knocks. Bobby Petta picked up a kick on the calf at Darlington on Tuesday, Mark Bower didn't play because of a calf injury and Lee Crooks had a bit of a problem with his back.

"It would be nice to finish with a 100% pre-season win record - it breeds confidence."

"If Bower is fit, then he will obviously play."

Although Jamaican international Damion Stewart had a fine debut for the club on Tuesday, Todd clearly sees David Wetherall and Bower as his main central defenders again.

"Stewart has come to the club as a squad player, I am looking for the Wetherall-Bower partnership like last season," said the City boss.

"They both know what it is all about, they were superb last season. There is no reason why they cannot maintain that form. They are as good as anybody."

And Todd has been impressed with Russell Howarth in goal, who has been first choice so far as Ricketts only received his work permit on Thursday.

"Russell did very well at Darlington. I think he just lost his way a little bit before coming to us but he has a very good pedigree." said Todd.

"So there is competition for the goalkeeper's jersey - and across the middle line. I wouldn't discount Ben Muirhead or Owen Morrison at this moment or Lee Crooks.

"And Danny Cadamarteri is still in the equation. He is still a little bit down on fitness compared to some but he is beginning to show sharpness."

Owen Morrison and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson will both be out to impress on Saturday against their former side.

Kick off is at 3.00pm.
