City skipper Michael Flynn admits that the Bantams squad are exciting by the prospect of playing in front of a bumper home crowd this Saturday thanks to the club's £1.00 match ticket deal.
The Bantams yesterday made the exciting announcement that all City supporters can gain entry into this weekend's Hereford United fixture at the Coral Windows Stadium for only one single pound.
Unsurprisingly, Flynn fully backs the club's decision to make this superb offer to supporters and feels a large Bantams following on Saturday can really make a difference to City's chances of winning against the Bulls.
Flynn, who played the last time City offered up £1.00 tickets against Stockport County last season, believes the deal also offers unbelievable value for money and he hopes many fans will snap up the cut-price tickets before the match.
"It is a really great offer from the club and should really help the fans to get to the game," said Flynn.
"Saturday marks the start of an important run of games for us and it would be great if the supporters can play their part to try and help us make it a winning start to this vital period.
"Let's be honest, £1.00 to see the likes of Kyel Reid play - that is great value for money!
"The stadium is certainly one of the reasons that attracts players to this club, so to see it buzzing on Saturday would really be a boost to the lads before the match.
"It's always great when the crowd are right behind us and I think the lads are all looking forward to playing in front of a large support on Saturday.
"While we may not have played the best against Stockport (the last time City offered the £1.00 ticket deal), I think the fans certainly had value for money that day with all the goals and incidents.
"Hopefully we can get a large crowd in the ground on Saturday, like we did at the Stockport game, and we can send the fans home happy.
"The main thing though is that we get the three points and a large backing from the Bradford fans will certainly help us to try and do that."
City supporters can purchase their £1.00 match tickets NOW from the Bantams Ticket Office at the Coral Windows Stadium until 12noon on match-day (Saturday 25 February 2012).
The Bantams Ticket Office will be open every weekday this week between 9:00am - 5:00pm and from 9:00am on Saturday.
