Bradford City Badges will shortly be releasing a brand new limited edition set of season badges packaged as decade sets.

The badges are fully endorsed by the football club with a pound from each badge being donated to the Bantams.

Meaning If all 100 sets are sold, then £2000 per season will be raised for club funds.

There are 10 badges in each set and each individual badge will catalogue a particular season.

Each 'super sized' 42mm badges will detail:

The season
The name of the manager(s)
The names of 5 key players
The name of the top scorer(s) and number of goals scored
A key fact about that particular season
The league record P W D L Pts and league position

In addition, the home shirt will be reproduced in enamel on each badge along with the Club crest for that particular season.

Seventy-five sets of these limited edition sets of badges will be produced in antique gold and twenty-five sets in antique silver.

Each badge will be individually numbered on the back (1-75 in antique gold) and (1-25 in antique silver) and stamped 'LIMITED EDITION'.

It is highly likely that the sets will become collectors' items in the future.

The badges will come in their own presentation box and build into a historical record of Bradford City.

The first set of badges will be released in late September.

This set of 10 badges will cover the decade 1990-2000 which includes 2 promotions, culminating in the rise to the Premiership.

The second set will be released in April 2011. Thereafter, it is planned to release two sets of badges every season until the full history of the Club has been covered.

When completed, the badges will build into a superb display .

The sets cost £60.00 for the box of 10 badges, if collected from Valley Parade and an extra £6.00 if you require them posted out by next day special delivery.
