Bradford City's Youth Team suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of high-flying York City this Saturday morning.

The Bantams lost out 3-2 against the Minstermen in the North East Conference Youth Alliance at York's Wiggington Road.

The North Yorkshire outfit, who are currently pushing Hull City hard for the league's top spot, were given a tough inspection by David Wetherall's side.

Oliver Forsyth continued his credible scoring record this season by grabbing his 15th of the campaign, while Darren Stephenson also registered for Bradford.

Their goals unfortunately weren't enough as the Bantams eventually lost by the odd goal in five.
