Simon Ramsden suffered a slight calf strain during the first period of Saturday's victory over Aldershot Town.

The Bantams skipper was replaced at half time by Jonathan Bateson and received treatment on the injury straight after the match.

The early diagnosis on Ramsden injury is encouraging though.

It is hoped that the right back will only have to miss Bradford's trip to Hereford United next Saturday at worst.

Ramsden's team-mate, Omar Daley, also suffered an injury during the Shots fixture.

Daley received a knock to his knee, but the blow is not expected to trouble the Jamaican too much and he should be fit for the match at Edgar Street.
