Former Bantams heroes John Hendrie and Dean Windass are set to take part in a fun evening for charity.
A group of Huddersfield University Students have organised a fun charity evening with a host of sports legends taking part, including Hendrie and Windass.
Game Set Match LIVE will take place on Wednesday 24th March at St Paul Hall, Huddersfield, starting at 7.30pm, and follows a format similar to that seen on BBC favourites A Question of Sport and They Think Its All Over.
From the world of rugby, former Huddersfield Giants and Bradford Bulls favourite Robbie Paul captains a team against former Bradford City hero Windass.
Alongside these two sporting legends are four more sports legends in the form of Bradford City icon Hendrie; Huddersfield Giants favourite Brad Drew; former Huddersfield Town manager Andy Ritchie and finally, former Bradford Bulls and New Zealand star Henry Paul.
The star-studded line-up will take to the stage, after a warm-up comedy act, in a live event featuring fun rounds such as 'home and away' and 'mystery guest', implying other sporting stars are also on the agenda.
Team captain Robbie Paul spoke of the event saying,
"Game Set Match LIVE is an excellent idea to raise money for the cause. I have done A Question of Sport before and after meeting with the organisers, I know this is going to be a good laugh, they have always got something up their sleeve! It's live aswell so I know there's going to be banter. It will be a great evening and a fundraiser too."
A donation from the proceeds of the event will go to the Keep It Up campaign. It costs £7200 per day to keep the emergency service helicopter in the air so your support is needed.
Tickets cost just £5 per person and are available from Yates's Bar in Huddersfield, just ask behind the bar for your ticket.
