City striker Peter Thorne has returned from holiday and immediately put pen-to-paper on a new one-year deal with the Bantams.

The 36-year old signed for Bradford City on a free transfer from Norwich City in July 2007 and in his two seasons at Valley Parade netted 32 goals in 75 appearances.

Thorne was contemplating whether to retire at the end of last season but agreed a new contract with Stuart McCall during the summer.
