Joint-Chairman Julian Rhodes is hoping Bradford City can fill the Coral Windows Stadium with 20,000 crowds next season.

The Bantams already boast the biggest attendances by far in the Coca-Cola Football League 2 after the success of the cheap season-ticket offer.

And as they today unveiled new prices of just £150 for next term, Rhodes revealed a plan that could nearly double the numbers.

There are currently just over 12,000 season-ticket holders, including 9,000 adults. If the adult take-up hits the same figure by the middle of June, those fans will all be given an extra free season ticket.

Julian Rhodes said: "We're trying to encourage people who took up the offer last year to renew and, if we hit the same number, bring a friend.

"When I first mentioned this at the club there were a few smiles. But not many of the staff are laughing so much now because they think it will work.

"People knocked it this time last year with the 10,000 for our team campaign and I see no reason why this can't succeed."

City will still offer the cheapest seats in the Football League. Adult and OAP prices have gone up £12 - the equivalent of an extra 50p per game - while juniors will now pay £75.

And if the Rhodes plan succeeds, City supporters will effectively be paying £75 for their ticket - or £3.25 a match.

The club claim the slight increase will offset any drop in turnstile income as casual followers are more tempted to buy season tickets.

The cut-off point for the free season-ticket offer will be Sunday 15 June allowing City time before next season kicks off to sort out the logistics involved in trying to seat fans next to each other.

The free ticket will be for an adult although the club stress that any age can use it. And it will not be restricted to one individual for the whole season.

The offer also applies to those supporters who took advantage of the club's offer to renew at this season's price in December and 25-year season ticket holders (although membership to the supporters suites is not included in the offer).

Under 11's will again be admitted free.

Fans again have the chance to upgrade to use the facilities in the supporter suites for an extra £110 - the same price that 25-year holders will pay to gain free entry.

City are also opening up the McCall Suite, which is currently used by sponsors for interviews and presentations before and after the game. There are 100 places available for £150 on a first come, first served basis - and there will be no dress code.
