I'd like to welcome Ian Sampson and his staff from Northampton Town for this afternoon's game.
He has done a very good job there and I know they have still got a possibility of making the play-offs.
They won their last game after a little bit of a dip but before that they were absolutely outstanding.
It makes our final home game a difficult one but we are all looking forward to it.
Looking back over the season, it has been very frustrating for you, the supporters, but that's football. We've got to take things on board to make sure we are better next time.
I've been here since February 17 and have thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. I've got to know how this club works and that's made me very determined to stay here and put it right.
I think our last two games have shown our spirit and togetherness and our confidence to fight our way back.
We have been losing in both and it's nice that we've got that tremendous attitude to believe that we are going to get back.
The first half against Barnet wasn't how we wanted but we kept going and were rewarded with two late goals to win the game.
At Chesterfield last week, we played all right but then suffered the blow of going a goal down and being reduced to ten men. But again the attitude was fantastic and it was nice for Gareth Evans to be rewarded with a goal for all the effort that he puts in.
We had a very nice player-of-the-year do on Tuesday and I was pleased for all the people who picked up awards.
I just want to add to that and really thank the supporters and the sponsors for their great level of backing, either financially or with buying a season-ticket. It's very important to a club like ourselves.
I would like to thank the players because it's not been easy for them after losing a good man like Stuart McCall.
I would also like to thank the staff for getting on with it as they have done.
All things being equal we will be looking to have a good squad to have a real go next year.
Being our last game here, I know there will be a minute's silence observed for the victims of the fire disaster.
It's amazing that my old assistant manager was manager of Lincoln City when it happened so I've always known about it.
Obviously everybody from the club will be there on May 11 to pay their respects.
Once again, I would like to say how much your loyal support is really appreciated.
Enjoy the game
Peter Taylor
