A warm welcome to the coaching staff, players and fans from Cheltenham Town to this afternoon's game.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish all our supporters a belated happy new year.
I hope 2010 is a healthy, happy and safe one for all our supporters and their loved ones.
I am sure I will not be the only one here in the stadium today in hoping that this new year is also a successful one for the football club on and off the pitch.
Success for us this season would of course be to gain promotion in May.
To achieve this, I feel we will need to kick on and turn some good performances into points, as we enter the second half of the season.
At the time of writing these programme notes, our opponents Cheltenham are without a manager since Martin Allen's departure.
I am sure this will have changed by the time we both meet this afternoon, with Cheltenham's players certain to be keen to impress their new boss.
Our last match against them was a thrilling affair and I'm sure a good watch for the neutral.
The match was a tad too frenetic for my liking with all the goals flying in, but the result was a crucial one as it kick started our season.
To score five away from home was a marvellous achievement and showed what we can produce when we attack at our very best.
For entertainment value, another 5-4 match today wouldn't go a miss in fact.
I am sure our defenders probably wouldn't like it too much, but as long as we came out on top again, I wouldn't mind too much!
Enjoy the game and get behind the lads
