Coca-Cola League 2
Bradford City vs Rotherham United
A warm welcome to Ronnie Moore, his coaching staff and the players and fans from Rotherham United to this afternoon's game.
I've got a decent record against Rotherham and we beat them home and away last season, but this is going to be a big test for us.
We know we've got to put in a much-improved performance from our last home game because that result really put a dampener on things.
The home form, although we've had a few draws, has been all right performance-wise. Points-wise we'd like to have a few more but I can't remember going away thinking that was a disgrace or really poor.
But against Rochdale, they played at the top of their game and we were at the bottom. Individually we were very poor and they were very good so the gulf looked big over that 90 minutes.
So today is a real challenge against a team that from the outset you would expect to be up there pushing for the top three.
We've got to be on the ball if we are to come out with the three points. We're all looking forward to the game and we've got a point to prove to the punters. We've had two back-to-back victories away from home and we want to back that up.
If we'd taken our chances at Darlington, we would have the game wrapped up by half-time. They hadn't had a real attack on our goal.
But as always, if you don't score a second or third there's always going to be chance for the opposition to put a bit of pressure on late on which they did, without too many scares.
The main thing, though, was getting the three points on the back of a poor performance.
But the second half wasn't very good so we need to up it.
It's nice to have Stephen O'Leary back running again. We got good news about his scan so hopefully we'll have him back in the near future.
Omar is also picking up his recovery and played another game behind closed doors at Hull this week.
As with him, Steven's been out a while and will need a few games. Then we'll have to look at his contract situation.
Enjoy the game and get behind the lads
