"When you've got a caretaker manager in charge it can often make the team difficult to predict"

Coca-Cola Football League 2
Bradford City vs Mansfield Town
A warm welcome to Paul Holland, his players, the staff and supporters from Mansfield Town for this afternoon's game.
I don't know the situation at Mansfield but when you've got a caretaker manager in charge it can often make the team difficult to predict.
We saw that at Bury recently when Chris Brass took the team for a couple of games. When you've got someone in who has a sniff of getting the job, they often try a few new things to shake it up.
Every team throws up a different challenge but I'm more concerned with ourselves and looking for that consistency.
These notes are written before our trip to Chester on Wednesday so hopefully that will have brought some good news.
I was disappointed with our overall performance at Stockport last Saturday. They played very well on the day, and you can see they are where they are in the table, but we have got to do a lot better.
We're probably where we deserve to be - a mid-table team - and I'm as much to blame as anyone for this season because I brought a lot of the players to the club.
On our day we're no different to Rotherham, Chesterfield or Wycombe, who are all up there, but we have been too inconsistent to put together a better challenge.
But there is still plenty to play for this season and we want to get as many points as we possibly can. I want the players showing me they still want to be here but I know there is work to do.
It's disappointing that we have lost three of the last four games here. Our inconsistency keeps holding us back and the Dagenham match here was unfortunately the story of our season.
The support has been magnificent this season, home and away, and it's down to us to reward that by putting in good performances.
That's what I will be looking for this afternoon and hopefully we can show what we are capable of and pick up three more points.
Remember we're all one team so give the lads a shout.
Enjoy the game
