Charlie Moore, who played alongside his brother Fred in five games in 1926/27, was one of Bradford City's most versatile players.

A native of Worksop, he joined City from Manton Colliery in October 1926 and quickly made his mark as an inside-forward. He moved to playing centre-forward the following season and was top scorer - netting five against Nelson when City beat them 9-1 in November.

He retired in 1940 having made 339 League appearances, which was a total then second only to George Robinson.
