City and Barnsley's ball number two was picked out alongside Sky Bet League 2 side York in Saturday's morning live draw on Sky Sports' Soccer AM.
The Bantams and Barnsley will, of course, meet on Tuesday to decide who faces York in the Area Quarter-Finals after the original second round tie at the Coral Windows Stadium was postponed last Tuesday due to a waterlogged pitch.
The winner of Tuesday's tie will meet York on home soil the week commencing 9th November 2015.
The Bantams and York have already met once before this season in a cup competition when the Minstermen defeated Phil Parkinson's men on penalties in the Capital One Cup first round back in August.
