SIX FEATURE IN SHEFFIELD UNITED DRAW

25 November 2014

Six members of Phil Parkinson's first team squad, including James Hanson and recent loan signing Francois Zoko, featured for a City XI during a training ground friendly at Sheffield United this Tuesday.

Hanson, who began the match up front with Zoko, netted for the Bantams in a 1-1 drawn behind-closed-doors fixture at the Sheffield United's Redtooth Academy in Shirecliffe. Both Hanson and Zoko played 63 minutes each.

Along with the striking duo, Ben Williams, Matthew Dolan, Alan Sheehan and Christopher Routis also began the match against the Blades.

Sheehan, who set up Hanson's headed goal via a left-footed cross, played 70 minutes of the game. Williams, Dolan and Routis were given the whole match.

A number of City's apprentices were also on show during the friendly, including Dylan Mottley-Henry, James King, James Pollard, Sam Wright and Reece Webb-Foster - all of whom have featured on the bench for Parkinson's senior side this season.

Some of Sheffield United's senior players on show were Michael Higdon, Marc McNulty, Iain Turner, Harrison McGahey, Florent Cuvelier and recent signing from Ilkeston, Che Adams.
