Parkinson says City are likely to be without Nathan Doyle after the midfielder tweaked a groin muscle during Saturday's defeat at Shrewsbury Town.
Along with Doyle's expected absence, influential striker James Hanson could miss out as well due to a back spasm. He played through the pain with the issue at Shrewsbury but remains troubled by the problem.
Defender Matthew Bates will also need to be checked pre-match after going down with a sickness bug.
Parkinson said: "We have one or two injuries to deal with ahead of Tuesday night.
"They are nothing too major but we still have to make sure we pick a team that is fully fit and raring to go.
"Hans (James Hanson) played with a spasm in his back on Saturday.
"That has stiffened up over the weekend, as you might expect, so we will have to monitor him.
"With Nathan, he has been carrying a groin problem for a while really.
"I think a lot of players at this stage of the season have some sort of injury that they are managing, especially when they have played most of the games.
"The (groin) issue just flared up a bit on Saturday and it looks likely that he will miss Tuesday.
"It shouldn't keep him out for too long, however."
