Roared on by a vocal away support, Parkinson's men deservedly won their previous game on the road at Scunthorpe United last weekend.
The Bantams boss readily acknowledges the role the fans played in the win at Glanford Park, and he is keeping his fingers crossed for more of the same this Saturday against Walsall at their Banks's Stadium.
Parkinson said: "I've said it before but the backing we receive, especially when we are away from home, really does make a difference.
"You could see that at Scunthorpe last weekend.
"The fans made a tremendous atmosphere over there, and the players responded to that.
"This Saturday (vs Walsall) is a really important game for us and every bit of help we can receive from the fans would be greatly appreciated.
"I know there are plenty of other distractions at this time of year but it would be great if fans could dig deep to find a way to come and support us down there.
"It would be a big boost to see as many fans as possible down at the ground."
