The Bantams have been drawn away to fellow Sky Bet League 1 side Oldham Athletic in the first round of this season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The draw was made live on Sky Sports' Soccer AM show this Saturday morning. City's previous visit to the SportsDirect.com Park in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie came back in December 2011 during Phil Parkinson's first season in charge of the Bantams when the two sides met in a Area Semi-Final.

First round ties are due to take place the week commencing 1 September 2014.

Ticket details will be announced for this tie in due course.
