THE STRIPES ARE BACK!

7 May 2014

The club have gone back to a more traditional look for their 2014/2015 home strip after revealing their new-look main kit for next season during this Tuesday's end-of-season Player of the Year awards evening at the Coral Windows Stadium.

City's home kit for next season will have claret and amber stripes on the shirt - a popular choice among many Bradford fans - while the shorts and socks will be black. This is the first time this particular combination will be used by the club in six seasons.

The new strip, which is once again produced by Nike, was revealed to supporters and guests at the club's Player of the Year awards evening using giant boards hung either side of the main stage.

As the pictures below show, the shirt features relatively thin claret and amber stripes on it - eight in total - with a nice and simple approach to the all black shorts and socks.

With the JCT600 logo once again on the front of the home shirt, the kit doesn't look too unlike the famous strip used by the club for the majority of the 1998/99 campaign - a season which memorably saw City promoted into the Premier League.

After debuting on the club's shirts towards the end of this campaign, the name of local business AutoElectro will continue to be proudly displayed on the back of City's jerseys next season.

Details on when the new home kit will be available to buy and retail prices will be announced in due course.
