The match at the Coral Windows Stadium will kick off at 7:45pm.
The home fixture with the Spireites, originally scheduled for Saturday 7 March 2015, had to be rearranged due to City's forthcoming F.A Cup Quarter Final with Reading.
Following confirmation of the new date, the Chesterfield game is now sandwiched between a home fixture with Oldham Athletic the Saturday before (28 March 2015) and City's Good Friday trip to Doncaster Rovers (3 April 2015).
Bantams boss Phil Parkinson is believed to have favoured this particular new date of 31 March for the Chesterfield fixture to stop City adding to their already lengthy run of consecutive midweek fixtures.
At present, City are in the middle of a period which will see them play five midweek matches in five weeks on the trot.
