Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has made four changes to his starting eleven from Saturday's league opener with Coventry City.
After receiving his international clearance, Ben Williams is named in goal in place of the cup-tied Jordan Pickford, while James Meredith comes into the side at left back.
Meredith's inclusion means Alan Sheehan will play alongside Rory McArdle in central defence. Matthew Dolan and Filipe Morais, who will make his Bantams debut, comes in for Billy Knott and Gary Liddle respectively in City's midfield.
Knott moves down to the bench, joining the likes of Andrew Davies, Aaron Mclean and the returning Oliver McBurnie in the process, while Gary Liddle is given the night off due to the fact that his wife is due to give birth.
