City defender Carl McHugh could be in line to pick up his second cap for the Republic of Ireland Under 21s after being called up into the squad for their friendly fixture with Portugal next week.
McHugh will make up part of Ireland's eighteen man squad to take on the Portuguese at the Tallaght Stadium, Dublin, this coming Monday (25 March 2013) evening.
It is the exact same squad that helped secure the Irish a magnificent 3-0 victory over Holland last month - a game which saw McHugh make his debut at Under 21s level for Ireland.
In other news, fellow Bantams defender Steve Williams has joined Blue Square Bet Premier side Barrow on a month's loan.
