LET'S NOW GO ON ANOTHER RUN

30 November 2015

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson says he is confident City can shrug off their weekend defeat at Walsall and build up another impressive run of results.

Despite dominating the second period at Walsall's Banks's Stadium, Parkinson's men were beaten 2-1 by the Saddlers on Saturday for their first loss in eleven games.

Following the close defeat, the Bantams now turn their attentions to the Emirates FA Cup and this Sunday's second round encounter with Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division side Chesham United at the Coral Windows Stadium.

Parkinson, who celebrates his 48th birthday on Tuesday, said: "You obviously want to win every game you can. We were clearly disappointed to lose on Saturday but we go again now and turn our attentions to Sunday (vs Chesham United).

"We will do our homework on them and prepare for the match as best we can. We will also look to pick the team we feel right to help us try and progress into the next round.

"Saturday was our first defeat in two months. I really can't fault the lads during this run we've been on - they have been excellent and we have to give them enormous credit.

"We have taken a lot of heart from the way we've been playing recently.

"The aim now is to try and start another run beginning on Sunday."
