JOINT CHAIRMAN KEEPS TO HIS WORD!

27 August 2014

Shortly after City's dramatic derby day victory over Leeds United in the Capital One Cup, joint chairman Mark Lawn stuck to his word and received an icy shower in the middle of the Coral Windows Stadium pitch!

Complete with his onesie suit, Lawn took part in the Ice Bath Challenge following his nomination last week from Bantams boss Phil Parkinson.

The club supremo had claimed pre-match that he would take up Parkinson's nomination should City defeat Leeds in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

With Billy Knott and James Hanson goals giving the Bantams a popular victory over the club's near neighbours, Lawn kept his promise to become the latest individual in the sporting world to complete the Ice Bath Challenge.

Famous faces and members of the general public alike have taken part in the Ice Bath Challenge in recent weeks to help raise money for those affected by ALS and Motor Neurone Disease.

CITY SUPPORTERS CAN TEXT ICED55 (and then their donation i.e. ICED55 £5.00) TO MAKE A DONATION TO THE MOTOR NEURONE DISEASE ASSOCIATION.
