CITY BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN

18 August 2014

The Bantams embark on their third away match in a week this Tuesday as they take on John Gregory's Crawley Town at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.

No fresh injuries were reported by any of City's players after the goalless draw at Walsall at the weekend, although Billy Clarke, who missed the game at the Banks's Stadium, is also expected to sit out Tuesday's game as well with a hamstring problem.

With that in mind, Aaron Mclean and Mason Bennett could have to do battle for a place in attack alongside James Hanson.

Given that the Bantams' encounter with Crawley will be their fourth game in eleven days at the start of the season, Bantams boss Phil Parkinson might be tempted into one or two changes for his line up even if he sticks with Bennett up front.

Matthew Dolan and Filipe Morais could be two players in particular to benefit should Parkinson look to change things from Saturday's line up.

Alan Sheehan is likely to be back in City's travelling squad  as well after spending the last few days back home in Ireland following the death of a close relative.
