CITY UP FOR F.A CUP GIANT-KILLING AWARD

18 April 2015

Phil Parkinson's Bantams have been nominated for the prestigious F.A Cup Ronnie Radford Giant-Killer Award.

Launched in the 2010/2011 season, The Ronnie Radford Award - named after the former Hereford United midfielder - honours the team who has produced the biggest cup upset during each campaign.

Radford, of course, netted a famous long-range strike for Hereford back in 1972 to help the Bulls pull off arguably one of the greatest F.A Cup shocks of all time by beating Newcastle United.

City are have been shortlisted for the award after their outstanding victory over Chelsea in this season's F.A Cup Fourth Round.

The Bantams memorably came from two goals down to sensationally beat Jose Mourinho's men on their own patch. City are still the only side to win at Stamford Bridge this season in all competitions.

Parkinson's men are up against Worcester City, who have been nominated for their first round victory at Coventry City, and Sheffield United following their win at Premier League Queens Park Rangers in round three.
