City to check on Davies

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson believes it is too early to tell the full extent of any injury picked up by Andrew Davies during the first half of Saturday's fixture with Stevenage.

Davies limped off with a suspected calf problem towards the latter stages of the first period of the Stevenage match at the Coral Windows Stadium.

He was replaced by fellow defender Matthew Bates, who himself was returning from injury after missing the last two games with a slight hip complaint.

Speaking about Davies, Parkinson said: "I haven't had the opportunity to speak with Matty (Barrass, Head Physio) yet.

"There is clearly something there but we haven't had any discussions of any great length about it. I think we'll just have to wait and see how he is."
