CITY MOVE AN EASY DECISION FOR MORRIS

1 July 2015

New Bantams midfielder Josh Morris admits it was an easy decision for him to decide to come to the Coral Windows Stadium once he was aware of City's interest.

A day after Steven Davies' arrival, fellow new boy Morris was confirmed as City's second signing of the summer this Wednesday.

The left-footed technician moves to the Bantams from Championship side Blackburn Rovers after spending the last season and a half on loan at Fleetwood Town.

Morris netted eight times for Fleetwood from midfield during the previous campaign, making him the Cod Army's joint top scorer last season.

The 23 year-old said: "It (the deal) went on over the summer. I had a chat with the manager shortly after the season finished. As soon as the interest in me from Bradford was apparent, I was desperate to get this deal done.

"This move gives me a chance to establish myself at a permanent club. Once the opportunity at Bradford came about, my decision was made.

"Bradford are one of the biggest teams in this division and it is up to me now to come here and try to impress and kick on from where I left last season.

"This is a massive club - I remember the size of the crowd from playing there last season with Fleetwood. With the season tickets the club have sold for next season, this is a big opportunity for me."
