CHECKS TO BE MADE AHEAD OF READING TIE

5 March 2015

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson says he will need to make a few late calls on certain members of his squad ahead of Saturday's mouth-watering F.A Cup Quarter Final with Reading at the Coral Windows Stadium.

James Hanson picked up a knock during Tuesday's win over Crawley Town while Andrew Davies was rested for the midweek fixture due to a sore back.

The pair are expected to be fine to face the Royals but they will both need a final check on their fitness before the match just to be sure.

Filipe Morais is another doubt for the Bantams going into the weekend having missed City's last four matches with a knee problem. While Hanson and Davies are likely to feature, Parkinson believes Morais is still touch and go at this stage.

Parkinson said: "Hanson took a whack on Tuesday and we left Davies out to rest up a stiff back he had been suffering with.

"Filipe Morais is progressing well but that will be a late decision on him."
