AVENUE FRIENDLY CONFIRMED

28 July 2014

The Bantams will be bringing a squad to near neighbours Bradford (Park Avenue) this Tuesday (29 July 2014) evening as the club's preparations for the forthcoming campaign continue.

Kick off at the Horsfall Stadium will be 7:30pm.

Admission for the match will be:

Adults: £10.00
Concessions (over 60): £5.00
Students (on production of a valid NUS card): £5.00
Juniors under 16: FREE
Armed forces personnel (on production of warrant card): FREE

There will be no advance tickets sold for this friendly. Please just pay on the gate at the Horsfall Stadium on the night.

City's side at Avenue will contain several trialists, including some of the players who made up part of the squad for Saturday's goalless draw with Blackburn Rovers at the Coral Windows Stadium.

Phil Parkinson is expected to select a handful of his senior squad members for the game as well though, with Lewis Clarkson, James Meredith, Jason Kennedy, Billy Knott and Oliver McBurnie all in line to potentially see some action.

In keeping with tradition, the Tom Banks Memorial Trophy will be at stake during the fixture.

As a result, should the scores be level after ninety minutes, the winners of the trophy will be decided by the taking of penalty kicks.

Following their 1-0 win over Avenue last August, City currently hold possession of the Tom Banks Memorial Trophy.
