SCUNTHORPE UNITED (AWAY) - FIVE TALKING POINTS

23 March 2017

Stuart McCall's Bantams travel to Glanford Park this Sunday (26 March 2017) for their Sky Bet League One fixture with Scunthorpe United.

With Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and most recently England all choosing to adopt the much-talked-about 3-4-3 set-up this season, City also used the formation in their previous game against Swindon Town last weekend.

Will McCall look to line up his side in the same shape once again in front of the Sky Sports cameras at Scunthorpe?

Ahead of the Scunthorpe encounter, www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk looks at five other possible talking points going into this weekend...

1. Fourth vs Fifth
This Sunday's match will see two play-off contenders going head-to-head. With only two points and one place separating fourth-placed City and fifth-placed Scunthorpe, there will certainly be plenty to play for Glanford Park this weekend.

2. Super Sunday?
City's match at Scunthorpe will be their first of the season to be played on a Sunday. The Bantams played five times on a Sunday last season, winning twice, drawing twice and losing just once.

3. Television coverage
This weekend's match will also be City's first of the season to be shown live on television. The Bantams had four matches broadcast live last season, winning once, drawing twice and losing just once.

4. Bumper away following
After impressive away crowds at both Coventry City and Charlton Athletic recently, City are expected to be roared on at Glanford Park by another bumper crowd on Sunday at Glanford Park. Over 2,000 Bantams fans are expected at Scunthorpe for the match. Can they play their part once again?

5. Mac on the mark?
What price a Tony McMahon goal this weekend? The defender has scored twice in City's last three games in front of the live television cameras. McMahon, who celebrates his 31st birthday on Friday, also netted on the Bantams' visit to Scunthorpe last season. Any goal for McMahon would be his twelfth in City colours on his 80th appearance for the club.
