The eleven players making up the team, including Meredith, have been chosen via votes submitted by regional media representatives from each of the 24 clubs in League One during the 2016/2017 campaign.
Each media representative was allowed to pick one team of their favourite League One players, but they couldn't include players from the team they covered.
Along with Meredith, also selected in the League One team are former Bantams Connor Ripley and Josh Morris, now with Oldham Athletic and Scunthorpe United respectively.
The overall EFL team of the season will be judged by a panel this Monday (20 March 2017), and revealed at the EFL Awards on Sunday 9 April.
