DOYLE SELECTED IN PROVISIONAL IRELAND SQUAD

13 March 2017

Bantams goalkeeper Colin Doyle has been named in the Republic of Ireland's provisional squad for their forthcoming international double-header.

Martin O'Neill's Ireland are due to face Wales in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Friday 24 March and then Iceland in a friendly fixture three days later (Tuesday 28 March).

Both games will be played at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Doyle has been named in a 39-man squad, who will train at the FAI National Training Centre in preparation for the two games.

The City shot-stopper is one of four goalkeepers to be named in Ireland's provisional squad.

Former City loanee defender John Egan, now with Brentford, has also been included in the squad for his first senior involvement with the Ireland set-up.
