CULLEN NAMED IN IRELAND U21s SQUAD

Bantams midfielder Josh Cullen has been included in the Republic of Ireland Under 21s' squad for their forthcoming UEFA U21 Championship Qualifying fixture.

The Irish team will host Kosovo in the Group 5 fixture at the Tallaght Stadium on Saturday 25 March. The game will be Ireland's opening qualifying fixture in the group.

Ireland are grouped together in qualifying with Germany, Israel, Norway, Azerbaijan and Kosovo, who are entering the UEFA U21 qualifiers for the first time.

Along with his call-up, Cullen has also been nominated for the Ireland U21s' Player of the Year.

The loanee midfielder is shortlisted for the award along with Everton's Harry Charsley and Bristol City's Callum O'Dowda.

The winner of the award will be announced at the 'Three' FAI International Football Awards this Sunday (19 March 2017),
