Bucket collectors for the charity were in place around the Northern Commercials Stadium ahead of Peterborough fixture. The Bantams managed to raise more money than any other EFL club last season via bucket collections for Prostate Cancer UK.
This Saturday's final total isn't known as of yet but it is hoped that another encouraging amount has been raised for the charity.
Helping to boost the total, West Bradford Golf Club member and long-time City fan Pete Leskovac (pictured left in main article image) was on hand post-match to present a cheque for £300.00 to Bantams skipper, and Saturday's Man of the Match, Romain Vincelot.
Mr Leskovac was joined on stage for the presentation by Rachel Wilkinson and her son, Lucas.
The money was raised by the golf club following a prize raffle, with the winner receiving a handcrafted wheelbarrow from club member Peter Wilkinson (please see below).
A skilled craftsman in joinery, 88 year-old Mr Wilkinson was once commissioned by Her Majesty The Queen to make a hardwood lectern for the official opening of the Law Courts in Bradford.
Sadly, Mr Wilkinson now suffers from prostate cancer himself, leading to the golf club deciding to give the proceedings to the raffle to the charity.
City supporter and Prostate Cancer UK fundraiser Tim Kent was also present at the Peterborough game to help collect donations for Prostate Cancer UK.
Kent, who represented Bradford City in the EFL's Football to Amsterdam charity cycle last season, is also planning to participate in this year's event as well.
